“하나님을 목자삼은 사람”(시편 23편 1-4절)

"The Person Who Has Made God His Shepherd."

 

사랑하는 성도 여러분,
오늘 우리는 너무나 잘 알려진 말씀인 시편 23편 1절에서 4절 말씀을 통해
“하나님을 목자삼은 사람”이라는 제목으로 은혜를 나누고자 합니다.

다윗은 인생의 많은 고난과 위기 속에서도 이렇게 고백했습니다.

“여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다.”

이 말씀은 단순한 시적인 표현이 아닙니다.
하나님을 실제 삶의 목자로 모시고 살았던 사람의 믿음의 고백입니다.

오늘 말씀을 통해
하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 어떤 사람인지 함께 살펴보겠습니다.

 

Beloved saints,
Today, we would like to share grace through the very well-known

scripture of Psalm 23:1-4, under the title,
"The Person Who Has Made God His Shepherd."
Even amidst the many hardships and crises of life, David confessed:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
This statement is not merely a poetic expression.
It is a confession of faith from a person who lived with God as the shepherd of his actual life.
Through today's message, let us examine together what kind of person has made God his shepherd.

 

 

1. 하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 부족함 속에서도 만족을 배웁니다.

Those who have God as their shepherd learn contentment even in scarcity.

다윗은 왕이 되기 전에 목동이었습니다.

David was a shepherd before he became king.
그는 목자와 양의 관계를 너무나 잘 알고 있었습니다.

He understood the relationship between a shepherd and a sheep all too well.

양은 스스로 살아갈 힘이 부족합니다.

Sheep lack the strength to survive on their own.
길도 잘 찾지 못하고, 위험도 피하지 못합니다.

They cannot find their way well, nor can they avoid danger.
그래서 반드시 목자가 필요합니다.

Therefore, they absolutely need a shepherd.

다윗은 자신의 인생도 그렇다는 것을 알았습니다.

David realized that his own life was the same.
“나는 내 힘으로 살아가는 존재가 아니라 하나님이 인도하셔야 사는 존재다”라는 것을 깨달은 것입니다.

He came to the realization that “I am not a being who lives by my own strength,

그래서 그는 말합니다. “여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다.”

So he says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

여기서 중요한 것은

What is important here is not that
“부족한 것이 하나도 없다”는 뜻이 아닙니다. 인생에는 여전히 어려움이 있습니다.
경제적 문제도 있고, 건강의 문제도 있고, 사람으로 인한 상처도 있습니다.

그런데도 다윗은 부족함이 없다고 말합니다.
왜입니까? 목자되신 하나님이 함께하시기 때문입니다.

사랑하는 여러분,
환경이 완벽해서 평안한 것이 아닙니다.
하나님이 함께하시기 때문에 평안한 것입니다.

세상은 더 많이 가져야 행복하다고 말합니다.
그러나 하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 “하나님 한 분이면 충분합니다”라고 고백합니다.

성도의 만족은 소유에서 오는 것이 아니라 하나님의 임재에서 오는 것입니다.

 

David was a shepherd before he became king.
He understood the relationship between a shepherd and a sheep all too well.
Sheep lack the strength to survive on their own.
They cannot find their way well, nor can they avoid danger.
Therefore, they absolutely need a shepherd.
David realized that his own life was the same.
He came to the realization that “I am not a being who lives by my own strength,

but a being who lives only when God guides me.”
So he says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
What is important here is not that
it means “I lack nothing at all.” Life still has difficulties.
There are economic problems, health problems, and wounds caused by people.
Yet, David says he lacks nothing.
Why? Because God, the Shepherd, is with him.
Beloved,
Peace is not found because the circumstances are perfect.
It is because God is with you.
The world says that one must possess more to be happy.
However, those who have God as their shepherd confess, “God alone is enough.”
The satisfaction of the saints comes not from possessions, but from the presence of God.

2. 하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 인도하심을 받습니다Those who have God as their shepherd are guided.

2절과 3절 말씀입니다. “그가 나를 푸른 초장에 누이시며 쉴 만한 물가로 인도하시는도다.

내 영혼을 소생시키시고 자기 이름을 위하여 의의 길로 인도하시는도다.”

목자는 양을 인도합니다. 양은 앞장서지 않습니다. 목자의 음성을 따라갑니다.

신앙생활의 핵심도 여기에 있습니다. “내 뜻대로 살아갈 것인가?
아니면 하나님의 인도하심을 따라갈 것인가?”

많은 사람들이 하나님을 믿는다고 말하지만 실제로는 자기 생각과 자기 경험만 따라갑니다.

그러나 하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 따라갑니다.

때로는 하나님의 길이 느려 보일 수 있습니다. 이해되지 않을 수도 있습니다.

그러나 목자는 가장 안전한 길을 알고 있습니다.

푸른 초장과 쉴 만한 물가는 단순히 물질적 축복만 의미하지 않습니다.

지친 영혼의 쉼을 의미합니다. 오늘날 많은 사람들이 몸보다 마음이 더 지쳐 있습니다.
불안과 염려와 두려움 속에 살아갑니다.

그런데 하나님은 우리의 영혼을 회복시키시는 분입니다.

상처 입은 마음을 만져주시고, 무너진 마음을 다시 세워주시고,
메마른 영혼에 새 힘을 공급하십니다.

사랑하는 성도 여러분,
하나님의 인도하심을 받는 삶이 가장 안전한 삶입니다.

 

These are the words of verses 2 and 3. “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
The shepherd leads the sheep. The sheep do not go ahead. They follow the voice of the shepherd.
The core of the life of faith lies here as well. “Will I live according to my own will?
Or will I follow God’s guidance?”
Many people say they believe in God, but in reality, they follow only their own thoughts and experiences.
However, those who have God as their shepherd follow God’s word.
At times, God’s way may seem slow. It may not be easy to understand.
But the shepherd knows the safest path.
Green pastures and still waters do not simply signify material blessings.
They signify rest for a weary soul. Today, many people are more weary in mind than in body.
They live amidst anxiety, worry, and fear.
Yet, God is the One who restores our souls.
He touches wounded hearts, rebuilds broken hearts, and supplies new strength to parched souls.
Beloved saints, a life guided by God is the safest life.

 

3. 하나님을 목자삼은 사람은 골짜기에서도 두려워하지 않습니다. 

Those who have God as their shepherd do not fear even in the valley.

 

4절 말씀입니다. “내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라.”

여기서 중요한 것은 “골짜기를 지나지 않는다”가 아닙니다. 하나님을 믿는 사람도 골짜기를 지납니다.

질병의 골짜기, 눈물의 골짜기, 외로움의 골짜기, 경제적 어려움의 골짜기를 통과할 때가 있습니다.

다윗도 그런 시간을 많이 겪었습니다. 사울에게 쫓기며 광야에서 도망다녔고, 배신과 눈물의 시간을 경험했습니다.

그런데도 그는 무너지지 않았습니다.

왜입니까?

“주께서 나와 함께 하심이라.” 이것이 믿음의 비밀입니다.

문제가 없어지는 것이 은혜가 아닙니다.
문제 가운데서도 하나님이 함께하시는 것이 은혜입니다.

여러분,
아이들이 어두운 길을 걸어갈 때 무서워하는 이유는 혼자 있기 때문입니다.

그러나 아버지의 손을 잡으면 달라집니다. 길은 여전히 어둡지만 두려움이 사라집니다.

왜냐하면 함께하는 존재가 있기 때문입니다.

신앙도 마찬가지입니다. 하나님은 우리 인생의 목자가 되셔서
절대 우리를 혼자 두지 않으십니다. 때로 사람은 떠나갑니다. 환경은 변합니다.
건강도 약해질 수 있습니다. 그러나 선한 목자 되신 하나님은 끝까지 우리와 함께하십니다.

 

This is the message of verse 4:

 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for the Lord is with me.”
What is important here is not that one “does not pass through the valley.

” Even those who believe in God pass through valleys.
There are times when we go through the valley of sickness, the valley of tears, the valley of loneliness,

and the valley of financial hardship.
David also went through many such times. He fled in the wilderness while being pursued by Saul,

and he experienced times of betrayal and tears.
Yet, he did not collapse.
Why?
“The Lord is with me.” This is the secret of faith.
Grace is not the disappearance of problems.
Grace is God being with us even in the midst of problems.
Everyone,
The reason children are afraid when walking on a dark road is that they are alone.
However, if they hold their father’s hand, things change. The road is still dark, but the fear vanishes.
This is because there is someone with them.
Faith is the same. God is the shepherd of our lives,
and He never leaves us alone. Sometimes people leave. Circumstances change.
Health may also weaken. However, God, the Good Shepherd, is with us until the very end.

결론(conclusion)

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

오늘 다윗은 우리에게 중요한 믿음의 고백을 들려줍니다. “여호와는 나의 목자시니.”

하나님은 단지 교리 속의 하나님이 아니라
내 삶을 실제로 인도하시는 “나의 목자”가 되셔야 합니다.

하나님을 목자삼은 사람은

• 부족함 속에서도 만족을 배우고,
• 하나님의 인도하심을 따라가며,
• 사망의 골짜기에서도 두려워하지 않습니다.

왜냐하면 목자 되신 하나님이 함께하시기 때문입니다.

오늘 우리의 삶에도 이 다윗의 고백이 있기를 바랍니다.

“여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다.”

이 믿음으로 살아가는 저와 여러분 되시기를
주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.

Today, David shares with us an important confession of faith: “The Lord is my shepherd.”
God must not be merely a God of doctrine,

but the “My Shepherd” who actually guides my life.
A person who has God as their shepherd

learns contentment even in scarcity,

follows God’s guidance,

and does not fear even in the valley of death.
This is because God, our Shepherd, is with us.
I hope that this confession of David will be present in our lives today as well.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
I pray in the name of the Lord that you and I may live by this faith.
